I'm noticing a sudden influx of MJ signed Michael Jackson drawings coming on to the auction market, which seem to share the common themes of either 'portraits of historical figures' or 'Disney characters'.
Both of these themes are of course recognised from Michaels' drawings both at a young age and later in life, but it is interesting that so many new drawings are being released on to the market at the same time.
Here are some current examples:

The 'MJ-signed letter' with the black fedora offered by Frolic Galerie (for $7990) is equally bizarre:

And also from 'Frolic Galerie' at an ambitious $14,995, this 'MJ signed' red jacket and black pants, with similarly odd 'MJ signed letter':

The next item (above) that I'm adding to this archive was found in a most unusual location...not at an auction venue this time, but in a highly reputable and prestigious commercial collection: Hard Rock Cafe - specifically the online 'gallery' for the cafe at Ayia Napa in Cyprus.

This purple crayon rendition of MJ's dancing feet, appears to come from the large series (thought to be 200 or more) of faked crayon drawings, which have been discussed at various points, and at length in this thread. These drawings have been offered by several auction houses and online sites in the USA and in the UK, and images of them have been widely shared online, especially on sites such as pinterest.
Here (below) are some comparators from the same series:
It is worrying that these drawings are becoming so widespread in the public consciousness that they seem to be creeping under the radar of even the most careful purchasers.
The auction will open on: 11/22/2017

Last we talked it was 200 +/- not 500, just so that we have the same # (?)
Ed from Gotta Have Rock and Roll contacted me for help getting Jason's name and info in Nov of 2015. He bought 25 of them from Mem Vault. They DID NOT have COA's from anyone - just so that is clear. He bought them from "Greg" which was the same contact you had at Memorabilia Vault. He asked some well known authenticator(s) if they were legit and was given the bad news, and given my contact to help him (he was looking for info to go after Jason). This is what is disturbing to me, that he is now offering them for sale. He knows these are bad. 100%. Let that sink in.
