It's not an obvious forgery so maybe that's why no one else is chiming in. Not an expert on him by any means. Do you trust the source?
Thanks for the advise. I have just purchased a quick opinion from him. I let you know what he says. If he likes it, I will try to get a full letter of authentication.
I have serious concerns about it.
Steve, are you referring to the high and low points not being lighter, less heavy or trailing off? What I notice is that the size of his signature is smaller than usual and the top of letter "J" is not as tall as other examples.
Gio,
You've been studying! I have a lot of concerns, but the weight high and low are pretty good. You're right, J is unusually short compared to the M and N, but the most significant thing about the J is that the downstroke doesn't bend to the left like genuine Michael Jacksons. It bends to the right. The shape of the J is off, period. The loop of the L is mostly on the right of the J on genuine examples, but on this one it's mostly on the right. The small letters are off and too rigid: there's no spontaneous flow.
You're right Steve, the small letters do look rigid and unnatural and also the "J" bends at the wrong place. Thanks.
Steve, Just got the results back from Roger- He said its not authentic.
From reading on the Internet about you, Steve, I have a lot of concerns. What are these posts about from supposed ex friends and your ex-wife about on the Internet??
