Mom bin my autograph and letter nft drew ray tanner

I Have a bit of unfortunate and sad news about me

I got sent a letter and autograph stuff from Drew Ray Tanner as I won his NFT competition. He is a actor

Unfortunately, while my mom was tidying my room, she accidentally threw it out, not realising what it was or how important it was to me. Despite it being put in a safe place

So it’s just really upset me especially as the autograph was from Drew and last year I even showed him it when I spoke with  him

I’m extremely upset, as the NFT pictures and card / personalised letter held significant personal value and meant so much to me.
What’s worse is that I didn’t take a picture of the message letter.
So it’s just made me feel very down, and upset

Anyone else has a similar experience or am I only one

sadly he I think has stop doing his nft business so can't contact to be sent it again

I'm sorry to hear this. :-(

I had friend whose mother was a serial purger who would throw things away without even knowing what they were.  She wouldn't even open an envelope or package to inspect the contents before tossing it.

We had a mutual coworker whose grandfather had brought home from WWII a bunch of German flags and he sold each of us one for a very reasonable price.  My friend sealed his in a Tyvek envelope and stored it in his former room at his parents' house.  Not afterward he went looking for it only to find that his mother had tossed it without even looking inside.

So, you are not alone. 😕

I'm sorry to hear that but why would did his grandfather want world war 2 German flags as they germans were not nice then

The flags were "war trophies" - souvenirs of a victory over the enemy.  They are also very historical.

Could be worse. Everyone either has a personal (or family) horror story about valuable items being thrown out. My mother, when she was a kid, had two suitcases full of rare 60s comics (Spider-Man, Superman, Archie and the like), and had it thrown out by an aunt who had no idea what she was doing.

I'm looking at amending my will to make sure that no one tosses my stuff -- either it gets parceled out to someone/people who appreciate it, or it gets sold off to get some money for my family.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that

I'm pretty sure my mother threw out - or allowed to be mislaid - my collection of punk rock 45's. I used to buy them ttm so we're talking one a week over two years or so. Maybe a hundred or so. Many of them were numbered, first issues, probably quite expensive nowadays.

Not long after I left home my parents moved house and it was alleged they must have got lost then. but my mother hated my music choices at that time and I always suspected foul play - lol. My album collection made it through, however, so all was forgiven.

When I moved my entire collection of 8mm home movies from 1955 to 1988 were "misplaced." This was my entire family, including my parents wedding in 1957, their honeymoon, my first day of school and everything else, all Christmases and New Years and Easters and everything else. There were moving images of my great grandparents. And I am the only one left.

That is terrible, Eric, really awful..

Thank you. It is inestimable. I have had to forget about them.

Oh no I'm so sorry 💔

So u were not able to get the ones back she chuckec out
