Movie Cast "Signed" Posters Forgeries eBay seller filmfanatix

Folks this is big time. eBay seller filmfanatix sells tons of horrific cast "signed" forgeries that are all clearly done by the same hand and makes a TON doing it. ($3,000 in his last 18 transactions)

Here is a link to his store (which currently has nothing for sale, but will)

Look at this garbage "The Departed" signed poster that sold for $142 last night:

eBay thief filmfanatix has sold FIVE "Tombstone" cast "signed" posters for over $300 EACH. Look at this JUNK:

Multiple "Caddyshack" "signed" posters that are signed by Ted Knight who apparently signed them all before he died in 1986:
EVEN MORE ALARMINGLY, it appears as eBay thief filmfanatix also has his own web store with INVENTORY of these hideous posters. Here is a link to his site, this stuff is laughable:

All of this junk is signed by the same hand.

eBay continues to let this thief filmfanatix sell his hideous cast "signed" posters for profit.

Seems eBay thief filmfanatix tried to "lay low" for a little while, but has once again started selling these cast "signed" posters on eBay. As we know, these forgers can't just stop, because they are such LOSERS that they don't have jobs and rely on selling JUNK for profit.

Look at this horrible Back to The Future that sold for $150

Ryan,

Do you think this ebay crook could be buying his merchandise from NE Autographs and then just reselling them. The forgeries are of about the same quality, and they specialize in music poster forgeries. Maybe they are run by the some people. (ebay account and NE autographs)?

Carl,

I had to google NE autographs as I don't recall seeing anything about them on this site. I must say, HOLY CRAP everything is HORRENDOUS. (I almost crapped myself when I saw the Michael Jackson and Muhammed Ali, ROFL).  Surely there is a blog on AML about them calling out these thieves?

*Ironically* most of the pictures of the items on that site are of very poor quality, and I haven't had a chance to thoroughly compare. From a quick scan, I believe they are seperate. The morons at neautograph.com seem to think different color sharpies rule the world. I scanned several and didn't see some of the most dominant penstrokes that show up in filmfanatix forgeries

eBay thief filmfanatix has his own site to sell his junk on: http://www.atomicmall.com/seller.php?id=171355&stc=QXV0b2dyYXBo...

Also, eBay hasn't removed the 2 listings above yet. WOW.

What really sucks about this is the forgers seem to be getting better with some signatures, such as Morgan Freeman and Christopher Lloyd. I'm not saying they're great, but they're enough to legitimately fool someone who hasn't studied those signatures.

I noticed the Christopher Lloyd also JXE.  It is a bit crowded but not bad.  If it were a single autograph on an 8x10 photo it could present a problem for an authenticator.

eBay has done NOTHING about eBay thief filmfanatix selling obvious "cast signed" forgeries. Just mind-boggling.

Look at this crap, so obvious it is done in the same hand.

Totally embarassing.

Look at this Braveheart "cast signed" poster sold by eBay scammer filmfanatix . This sold for $152.50! UNREAL!

Hilarious how he signed Mel Gibson on gold. ROFL.

One of the things I find troubling is that they used to be flat out terrible forgeries, but now they are starting to develop some style. If you looked super quick at the Gibson or didn't know better, you might mistake it for being real. Same goes for Guillermo del Toro above.

It was easier when the fakes had no resemblence to real signatures. They you could really "blame the victim" for buying these. Now--with at least some of these signatures--an amateur could possibly get confused.

Such obvious junk it's amazing people fall for it. 100% scammer, love his "description" which a total BS lie about how these are "cherished items, and will be missed". PFFFF.

Doesn't even take a genius to see these are done in same hand:
