We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

This video shows you how easy the new forum is to use.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Be sure to click the Follow link at the bottom of the list of discussions.

Try it...I think you'll like it.

Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

Besides his meat farm he was an interesting guy that did a lot of good.

We don't need all these alerts for the same website.

We meaning you or are you assuming and speaking for everybody?

Nah, he speaks for me too. One post with all the links would have sufficed. Not a big deal honestly, but seeing 25 email alerts from you, all from the same website selling stuff, is a bit... I dunno. I don't come here for that, personally. But that's just me.

Yep, agreed...

+1

When did this list expand past musicians into actors (Stallone, Pythons, Sally Field, etc.) and sports stars (Muhammad Ali), exactly? Because I'm sure some of us could list scores of sites where those autographs are available.... I know I could.

I thought this was for musicians too, unless someone knows something I don't -- like Hugh Hefner has an amazing gangsta rap record and Muhammad Ali has a popular series of Christmas albums.

I think Nick meant well by posting all of these but just listing the names available and a link to the website would have been all we really needed. I do love Eric Idle.

I agree with Travis. Some people take for granted such a great find by Nick and I, for one, didn't get to look at the site before Nick was done posting. I thought it was fun watching one after another pop up on my email this afternoon. Not bothered by the few non-musicians posted either.

Was very interested in the Robert Plant but what a hideous Steve Winwood "mark" right beside Plant's auto.

I'm also a "little" skeptical of authenticity. It's just a treasure trove of legends - almost too good to be true?

to bad steves using his crappy sig not his good one from the 90's
