I was wondering on if this is a autopen or real? I cant find any preprints who match perfectly.

It is a myth that Autopen signatures are 100% identical. They often vary slightly.

An Autopen is a mechanical armature that holds a pen and follows a template to sign an item. Stray movement of the armature can cause variations in signatures. For instance, how quickly the operator is pushing items through it, if the machine gets bumped, type of pen used, if the template gets worn... all of these things may cause slight variations or distortions in the signature from the published patterns.

If a significant portion of the signature is an exact match with a small variance, then it is likely an Autopen. Additionally, an Autopen has a certain look and feel that’s apparent to a trained eye. This is a flat, dead signature. I know it’s an Autopen without even comparing it to a template.

Here is an example of how much Autopens can vary. These two mats were likely signed within minutes of each other. The same autopen templates were used for both. Note the variation in the Gs in Gene, the Rs in Ron, the Es in Evans...
