Just wondering if anyone has checked out the revamped (as of today) rrauction.com site. It appears that you are no longer able to view past auctions? Entering a name into the search only seems to bring up any present auctions. Am I missing something here? Thanks!

Greg, this new site is geared around for mobile phones users, giving better and easier access to your requested items, Bobby told me this fact this morning. I know because l use my mobile more these days than my pc,

How do you find previous sales. I haven't been able to find this. It would be nice if they left access to this for clients until everything is brought over to the new site.

Agreed! I have not been able to find a way on my phone to bring up past sold items. Does anyone have a link?

Past Auction database wasn't back online yet last I heard. It probably uses the same database current and upcoming auctions do, so it would make sense to get those running smoothly first.

HI Bobby,

Thanks for the call! I'm sorry I couldn't pick up. Anyway, no need to apologize for the website. If you want to make it up, start accepting credit cards. That would be incredible but terrible for my budget. I'd spend a lot more (is what I'm trying to say).

thanks!

Hi Mark.I actually asked him about credit cards.he said they will start allowing credit card use again this month on items under 1000.00

awesome. thanks for letting me know.

Telling people about your reconstruction of a web site has problems  does not confer any sense of honesty regarding real autographs, returns, etc.

I a not implying dishonesty, just that this is the first time I have heard about RR contacting people here

I really enjoy browsing their past auction results and find it an asset to the hobby. The issue I see with the updated site is that the results include items not specific to the person I am referencing. Possibly because it also in including the description in the search criteria?

For instance, when I am searching for "Bill Robinson", I get many results not relating to my actual search.

One problem with searching the past auctions is that you can't sort the results by type - i.e., album, photo, ALS, etc., which makes it almost a futile effort to search past auctions for some specific items. Hopefully this will change.

The new site has a different look, but as far as I can tell, it's no better.

People were used to the old site, but it wasn't phone or small tablet friendly and that's half or more the traffic these days. Look at lots on your cellphone and I think you'll appreciate the difference immediately.

I actually found the old site more iPhone user friendly, as I do most of my searches using my phone, but that's just my opinion ;)
And yes, I also do miss what form the item comes in as well! (ALS, PS, etc)...I hope they bring this back as well!
