Hey I bought this recently from a guy who had a big collection of nirvana signed items got them verified on rareandsigned.com and sold them. This was his last item. Apparently signed sep 13 1991 at the nevermind release party.

What does this mean when you wrote: "got them verified on rare and signed and old them."
Makes no sense.
Oh sorry. Rareandsigned.com. They certified it. Then he sold his collection. Sorry. Typo.
Can't comment on the sigs, but just the name rare and signed would be enough for me to avoid.
May I suggest you do a search on this site for comments on "rareandsigned". Not good news.
Yes I have read about them. I’m going to look into getting them certified myself Not sure where though in the uk. I’ve seen many nirvana signatures from the early days and I’m quite confident about these.
All 3 autographs are not even close to being authentic. The price he was asking was a dead giveaway that it is fake. Don’t waste your time and money getting it authenticated. I would suggest you spentput your effort to getIng your money back from the seller if it is not too late. All the best to you.
+1.
Sorry, these are not real.
Here’s the sellers reply when I questioned the authenticity
First of all let me say i have/had been collecting nirvana items for many years, i've had some very nice items, signed cd's, records, images and ive even had Kurt's Yearbook for school, if there is a way to search my history of transactions then please have a look. Ive only obtained every single item from reputable sources and external auctions. Most of my items had a COA's with other providers already when i bought them although several of the last items i had didnt, so i paid £120 each (or close to) to have them authenticated and coded with Rare and Signed. If they are not legitimate authenticators, then i am sorry i did not know this. I can show you the images of the funds i gave them for the coa's for a number of the items. This along with the price you got the item and my knowledge of this item being a perfectly legitimate item, i felt you had got it so cheap. I had actually lost money as i bought this many years ago.
Ideally what i would prefer is that you returned the t-shirt to me, then i can get another authenticator to check it, then i can place it back online. Hopefully i can then get what its worth. I had sold my other items some for close to £2000 each, but they had coa's with different companies.
I guess this is a lesson learned for me.
Feel free to return the item, so i can make the arrangements to have it retested and then finally relist it. I will of course cover the return postage back to me when it arrives.
cheers
Gemma , how much money did the shirt cost you? The sellers reply is hogwash.
