Are they all? I've seen a couple different examples. Did he use multiple autopens or are some real ones mixed in?

Oh no, I saw a couple of others that look the same too. Bummed! My order is still underway, now I'm not looking forward to it.

Not sure if they're real, but if you email the casino he does his show at, they'll send you a free autograph 8x10... or at least they used to... I got one awhile back but it might also be autopen, not really sure.

I'll have to get it out and post pics if I think about it. If I remember right is was a black and white 8x10. I think I emailed MGM or wherever he was performing and they sent it.

Here is my Copperfield that came a couple days ago.

Not exact, but very similar…

This is mine, and the first listing I saw on eBay was identical, down to the fine detail. Likely autopen.

Compare mine to this other one on eBay:

What a bunch of crap. We got a copy for my son for Christmas but I didn’t open it yet. I don’t see how anyone selling these as autographed can feel right about it.

Oh man, that's the worst. Im sorry to hear that. As a father, I collect for my daughter as well, she just won't know it for 10 to 15 years. I'd say open it though. The store you bought it from should take it back regardless. But maybe check and make sure its an autopen 1st. If it is an autopen, email the store, explain your situation and see if its possible any of them were actually hand signed and can fish one out for you. I hope they can find one if there are any out there. If not, I really hope you find something else for your son.

I’m getting sick of this nonsense! I will be getting burned again because Robby Krieger did the same thing. These entertainers have a bunch of nerve to do this to people. They had plenty of time to sit home and sign things when they were deemed non essential employees during the pandemic. I know I had to go to work as an essential employee. You would think they would give some thanks to the general public that kept this country going for them by doing something as simple as giving us what we pay for. My money is just as green as yours David and Robby and I don’t like getting ripped off!

That does suck. They shouldn't even offer a signed version if they don't want to sign them... but they all want on best seller lists or billboard charts so they'll screw over their fans... Pretty crappy though.

The big name stores will take these back which is nice but you might have to fight for the shipping costs. I do agree with everything you said though
