Dear everybody,

I can't thank you people enough for helping me on getting my MJJ autograph and being sure it's real. Now I'm not a autograph collector, I'm just a fan and wanted to have one. So really appreciate your help. I now have two and that's more than enough for me.

Now that being said. I've been studying his autograph before buying and ever since and it's still a hit and miss when cross-checking opinions on this board. So I'm no expert, but have my opinion. I'm just not comfortable on sharing it, so I'm no help to this board. Sorry for that. I'm not an active poster here but read to learn regularly.

Now this post was in my Facebook timeline.

Another MJJ close contact that sells his clothes and autograph. We seen it before and although the story behind the items seems right, that doesn't mean the offered items are. I'm not interested in buying this. I figured it could be helpful to this board and MJJ fans who are looking for a real personal MJJ item if opinions are collected on these items. I have my opinion, and will share it in here but after the experts in here shared theirs. I don't want to influence posts with my guessing.

So what do you guys think, is this the real deal?

Thnx and have a great day

Not genuine imo

Thank you for your input Phil. It's appreciated! Anyone else willing to share his/her opinion? Thnx!

Dumb forgery style. "HIM", "BLESSED" and "HIS" and all a ridiculous sales pitch to an uneducated fan.

He buys items in to sell them on for a profit.  It's a kind of 'fake-memorabilia laundering', where he adds his 'provenance' to items sourced from elsewhere.  He sold a whole auction-full of very dubious items and definite fakes about a year ago.  I wouldn't recommend this seller to any fans.

I had a flashback to a time when I bought MJ's "Moonwalk" book in a thrift store, and was gullible enough to think the pre-printed sketch/sig on the half-title page was legitimate. I went up to the cashier and proudly beamed about it, and she was so surprised she called other people to look at it while congratulating.

The sense of shame and regret I felt when I got back home and looked it up online is the same sense of shame I felt just reading that listing and the comments below it.

If this hat et al. was legitimate, it sure as hell wouldn't be hocked on FB Marketplace.

thank you all for your input. It's what I figured as well. No surprises unfortunately. It's just so disappointing that there are so many people out there that have no morality whatsoever. How do they sleep at night?

Scamming through eBay by nobodies isn't any better, but at least they act like crooks staying in anonymity. These so called friends of MJJ though... From another level. Really disappointing! Guess I'm just naive, was really hoping I got it wrong.

Anyway, thank you all for your input. I appreciate it.

Stay safe!

After the Bush sale, the 'Michael' album and then the 'Leaving Neverland' film full of easily-provable falsehoods, nothing should surprise MJ fans any more..... :(

I'm afraid you're right Lizzie. Still hope the world is a better place though.
