That is a pre-printed John Wayne Signature, on the back of a business-like card, that he used to carry around with him and hand out to fans when he was out in public.

Thanks for the help

Eric

I disagree that this is a pre-printed autograph.  I have one almost exactly the same, but different enough to indicate that unless he changed it for a different printing, our 2 similar autographs cannot be preprinted.

This is pre-printed card. No if, and, or but about it. They can be found everywhere.

What's your point? That yours looks different? Ok, yours looks different.

I know my picture isn't very focused, but it's clear enough to see that the signature is different enough that it is not the same as the one above.  The "L" doesn't run over "Good" and the "J" doesn't overlap or surround "Good" either.  The "k" in "Luck" is different in both autographs -- mine is more smooth and in the one above the loop is pointed.  The "y" in "Wayne" doesn't run off the page of my autograph.  I think he carried around the business size cards with "John Wayne" printed on one side but signed the other side individually.

Wrong.

Hi Jennifer, I hate to say it, but Joe is right. Yours is a different preprint but still a preprint. Here's an image of one of the eBay listings he pointed to:

it is interesting that both are pre prints of  authentic signatures yet each  vary quite a bit

Well done.

Eric
