This is a vintage 1981 signed Michael Jackson album.  Old signature style.  It looks real to me.  I have to admit the item description is bizarre; it seems to imply that the guy still thinks Michael Jackson is alive?  Item link is here and pictures embedded:

The rest of the description seems just as odd IMO. It sold for $791 it seems:

"...i was casual friends with Michael
hungout several times many years ago
he was nice enough to sign a few lps
the first i sold at a record convention (sequoia club buena park) in 1990 for 30 dollars
the second i sold for much higher ten years ago
this is the last and best, time to let go

i met him in the SF Valley, we were buds had his phone number but whenever i called he was busy lol, so he called me whenever he wanted to, we just hungout never any drama just an early breakfast or video games junk like that, he was genuine and a friend.
and if hes reading this i still live in the same house come over! lol
last time i saw him was about 1985-7 or so in downtown Pasadena he was with a friend and so was i so we just said hi."

The signature looks good though, and it's a rare style -- his late 1970s/early 1980s.  Not the kind people typically faith.  If you look at the guy's other auctions he doesn't seem in the autograph forging business.

He seems eccentric, but it's not crazy that he would have known MJ in late 70s, early 80s.  It's possible.

I believe this to be authentic. Didn't go cheap even though signed on the back of the album.

Looks authentic to me as well

What do people think of the value of this album?  Obviously this didn't go super cheap, but I still think it's a very good price for an album liked this with a vintage, uninscribed MJ?  I have seen scraps of paper signed by him for $500+, sometimes much more slabbed.  I would have to think the going rate for an album like this would typically be $1K+...

It's a very beautiful signature, authentic without any doubt in my opinion.
