I find this very perplexing.  I found an autograph of Paul McCartney in my everpresent search for the elusive "guaranteed" authentic signature.  You all have been very helpful, and I am hoping you can help me sort this out.  I submitted the following to Roger Epperson, and he deemed it genuine.  I also submitted it to PSA quick opinion and it came back "likely not genuine."  This confuses me.  I know Roger is very knowledgeable.... why would PSA come back with a negative opinion in this case?  Gar.

A no brainer. Roger's opinion over PSA's all day long.

It doesn't just extend to quick opinion, look at the Chris reeve.
Grad seems busy with tv these days and whoever is holding fort is losing the battle.

So we can conclude The Standard Bearer is incompetent ? I wonder if you spent several hundred

dollars if the opinion would be different? From a  pure cost efficiency  perspective I bet you can find

an incorrect opinion for 5 to 7 dollars if you tried.

Don't you think The Emperors New Suit is Magnificent ?

In my experience, paying makes a difference. I've been burned
You cant take these quick opinions as gospel.
Theres pro and cons using either, Epperson doesnt issue coa's outside the states, so you can use his service but to bad if psa fails it.

I also believe that PSA erred in the case of this Macca signature, but it can go either way when they disagree like this. You shouldn't assume that the same one is always going to be correct.

Relying on quick opinions not the way to go unless you intend to submit it after purchase AND you have a money back guarantee from a solid seller.

Thats easy enough to do if you live in the states.
I dont own one item authenticated by psa and i dont plan on it.
I have a few items authenticated by PSA and JSA, but most of my collection is authenticated by me.
Paul, you can solve that dilemma. We would welcome you...as Journey would say...with Open Arms. Lol.

It looks good to me.
