The prince items at rr at the present time are going for gold.

I would think so.  The one you posted has great contrast.  Nice ink on it.

Is this a comment on my new Prince?...

No, the guys are talking about love sexy lp's.

Where did you buy yours from?

eBay, Paul

Here's my new Prince Patrick

Badasssss
I would say that a signed Lovesexy album is worth between 2.000 and 3.000 dollars, depending of the strength of the autograph. The same for a signed Lovesexy cd.
Maybe more...perhaps a lot more...after seeing the results of the latest RR Auction with signed photos going for $6000 and more!

Hi Julie- Both say "Love God -Prince".The first is one of his many pseudonyms he used to write/produce music for himself and other artists when he wanted the music judged on it's own merit free of any preconceived notions of what a Prince track was supposed to sound like. He would also sometimes use these monikers to book hotel reservations, etc in an attempt to remain undetected by obsessive fans like myself (lol). I've never seen an example of any of these names written in his own hand so I have no basis for comparison though, if authentic, would have to be a rarity of significant value. The following are some other pseudonyms he used:

       Alexander Nevermind
       Camille
       Christopher
       Christopher Tracy
       Jamie Starr
       Joey Coco
       Tora Tora

The second example is a curious variation I have seen many times before. It seems to have started showing up around the time of the his 37th studio album, "Art Official Age" in September of 2014. I have yet to definitively verify it as a signature ever penned by his own hand.

Hi...thank you!...they are both up on ebay...but I doubt the authenticity...the first is interesting and Alexander is spelled with an S...but nothing to compare it to...and is so different from the prince autographs I have...and the second is just ridiculous don't you think....here are my Prince autographs for your viewing pleasure...

Hi Julie- I love the Northwest piece. Celebrity pieces involving travel like passports or train/plane/ocean liner tickets are always a treat because it tells a story and reflects on the signers lifestyle as an international jet setter. My favorite though is the Zig Zag rolling papers- now THAT'S a story! Can you imagine the later Devout One being asked to sign something like that? Thanks and keep sharing...
