When was it said to be signed
Im not saying its real, but I've seen a lot worse looking Brian sigs that were genuine. It depends a lot on what date they claim it was signed around. Freddie is the only member of the band who's signature I've studied and collected for over 30 years. He changed up his sig just a hair in some places over 3 times in his musical career. That's not including the pre-Trident years.

I am Rangersuk, the owner of this album. I bought this over 15 years ago from a someone on ebay. It does come with a Certificate Of Authenticity from a Old Pro Sports in Burbank, CA. I would never list this as authentic if I thought it was a fake, just not my style! I'm not sure when it was signed, there is a 1996 copyright date on the certificate.

I think all sigs are way off, too.

Not genuine imo

Ill tell you why its fake. Orat least, why that's my opinion. I've seen worse Brian sigs that were genuine because they were signed face to face. That's not the issue. Issue is, Queen weren't known for their group signings. They did a few in the 1970s while promoting their latest album, and again in the 80s for hot space and the works. Now, Freddie did do a group signing with MC during the release of the Barcelona album in the late 80s. However, I tried a few times to get into those signings during the 80s, and there was a pretty strict "sign what's relevant" rule. Meaning, the boys were only there to sign posters, pics, and vinyls of what they were promoting during that time. So showing up to the release of the works album with a copy of a night at the opera expecting to get it signed was not smiled upon. This album was released in 77. The Freddie sig is a shot at an 80s Freddie sig. All 4 boys signed it, and its well known that they didn't spend time together outside of "work", so it must've been "signed" at a promo group signing. At least, that would make the most sense. Getting queen together in one place as a fan in the 80s, was a huge task. They flew to gigs seperately, they drove to the studio in seprate cars, and while recording an album, one of the 4 were usually on holiday at some point. The Freddie sig on this album (if real-doesn't look it, but lets even give the benefit of the doubt here) is an 80s signature. Its on an album, so even if he had no table to sign on, it shouldnt be that sloppy. And I've seen some sloppy ones. But I digress. The main issue I have with it, is that the chances of having this album (from 77) signed by all 4 members in the 80s (as suggested by freddie sig), is highly unlikely. I'm not saying it wasn't possible at ALL, but the chances are so low, I wouldn't place a bid for it. Now, if it had been an 80s released album with that Freddie sig....I'd look into it some more. I'm sorry I cannot offer you my input on the other member's sigs, as I'm only confident in Freddie sigs vs john or rog. Good luck with it, and happy hunting
