Slightly late to the announcement, but I understand JIm Lovell (Apollo 13 Commander) passed away late last week at the age of 97. Wanted to acknowledge this, as I know we have several members here who are prolific space collectors (including Steve):

NASA Space News Story

Outside of his major accomplishments and the harrowing A13 story itself, he was (from what I understand) a fairly prolific signer and a great speaker/friend to all that met him. I was fortunate to find a copy of Lost Moon a few years back -- a fantastic read about the A13 program (and, in the anniversary edition, its enduring legacy).

R.I.P. to one of the GOATs of space travel.

A true American Hero!

Among the last group of autographs he signed TTM.

That he was still signing into his 90s is very impressive - he's GOATed!
