I was approached by a friend who had a question I wanted to pose here for him. The gentleman had the privilege to meet Muhammad Ali in person in 1999 and was able to obtain an in-person autograph from the great boxer. This apparently was around the time when Mr. Ali was still able to sign but the shakiness in his hands was physically noticeable. As such, the autograph reflects this. The graph owner would like to get the signature authenticated with a reputable LOA for sake of insurance and resale. Is there any particular authenticator that the AML community would recommend who is well respected with Mr. Ali's autographs? Again the LOA is for re-sale and insurance reasons. My thanks for any feed back on this topic.

Every collector has their own personal preferences.  When it comes to sports autographs, I prefer JSA.  I also recommend BAS and PSA.

If you are looking for someone who specializes in Ali, connect with Shawn Anderson from AliAutos.net. His Facebook and Website are a bit out of date, but he was offering online opinions and letters at one point.
