Reputable UK authentication service

Hi to all,

Does anyone know of the best / most reputable music autograph authentication service company in the UK? PSA and the likes are great but carry higher postage risks/cost for UK clients.
I appreciate that a piece of paper from a 3rd party does not necessarily make an autograph, but sometimes it helps one along.

A quick google search brings up the likes of:

http://www.authenticateit.co.uk

But I do not know enough to know if any of these are better than any other? Or if there are others out there better? Any help will be much appreciated.

Greig and Garry are members of this site, I know Mr.King has been in the autograph authentication service for along time and has help loads of people out in the years even me. I believe Greig is reputable to just like Garry is, as for the last one I would skip them. Garry and Greig will be fine to use I should think. As in the US the best for music is Roger Epperson and I think Michael Frost is good on music to both are on this site. Hope that's helped you abit good luck.

It's some different stuff, but mainly 70's english rock and 90's american rock.

if there is something really valuable in the collection I would still go to one of the major auction houses here to have it authenticated but they are all unfortunately expensive.  Frazers is also usually a good bet, altho they have just merged  with another company & they are friendly and approachable which cannot be said for Bonhams.  Christies usually will be only interested in it if it is worth £1,000 but at least they are pleasant

if you decide to use them  I can give you the name of someone there who I use and who IMO has always been very honest when dealing with me .
