Rock and Roll Collection Concerns [Title revised by moderator]

I see this site brought up a lot on this site for autograph references.

http://www.rockandrollcollection.com/

problem is, who ever this Stephan is he has a load of forgeries up here too. I get messages from people from time to time saying he has offered to sell a member here an item or two and it is never the real stuff imo, it is usually the fake stuff. Greed. He wants money but doesn't want to part with the good stuff.

Eagles are his most famous work. Attached is a screen shot of his fake work (not limited too). Notice how they are the same..... duh. If you look through his stuff he has loads of fake Zeppelin, Beatles, Springsteen, Stones, Floyd and more. Even the so called authentic Traveling Wilbury's is not real. Maybe the George and Petty are ok but 100% not the Lynne and I'm pretty sure the Dylan is bogus also. Anyway, I don't wish to debat about this guy and his ethics but if you are using him a reference be careful and I wouldn't buy anything from the guy either.

You have be careful not to have a herd mentality. Stephen Duncan and his collection's reputation are on the line here. Let's give him and autographs the time needed to get all the evidence out. We've had two Jerry Lee Lewis discussions going on for over a year.

Give it time.

Very well Steve, I just don't care much for the personal attacks, vendettas, and deals that have nothing to do with this discussion. I'd rather focus on the autographs.

Thanks, Mike. Let's give this the time it takes.

Steve,

Don Henley, Roger Waters and Harrison Ford samples have been provided. All 3 mini-studies show some serious problems and Mr. Duncan hasn't responded to us. In fact he stated earlier that he would only respond to you from that post on. Maybe you can get an answer for us?

There could be a Nimoy study coming as well.

Eric

I agree theres problems on both sides and now it seems both are gone to even pursue the truth! Justin had a point but was too rash to call Stephen a forger. Shame we have lost a lot of interesting people on this site, whether they cut their own throat or disappear (Dom Vito ,William Farrell) and a lot of others.

The problem i have with Steiger/Maser is the masquerading and not being open and honest about his identity.
He likes tell people the items are forged yet ducking and weaving in anomity.
Thats why Steve made the rule about using your real name if you calling someone a forger. Its only fair if we want to address these issue's.

I agree that the Harrison Ford autograph is atypical, but I am also concerned that the collection of exemplars provided does not include as many variations of Harrison Ford's in-person autograph that could be included.

There you go Mike, about 100 different Ford varieties for ya, with a few bad one mixed in as well for teaching purposes.

Thanks Pete.

My apologies Mike, I must have edited out the bad ones. That album was all authentic stuff.

He was just testing you, Mike.
