Simon Parr Auction House REMOVED from Live Auctioneers site

The dubious quality of Simon Parr's auction items have been discussed on this site before.  Here is proof that if people complain loudly and often enough action will be taken.  Here is a message from the Live Auctioneer company that hosts and accepts bids for Simon Parr Auctions:

Hello Tina,

Thank you for your email and we apologise for not replying sooner. After receiving numerous complaints about this seller, and launching an investigation, we decided to revoke Simon Parr’s selling privileges on LiveAuctioneers.

Please continue to let us know if you come across any other items which are cataloged in a misleading manner.

Fantastic!! Great job Tina...and whoever else spoke out!

I also wrote to them -- so the power of the people (and AML) strikes again!  I wonder if Simple Simon will be back on this board to comment?  (Or was he banned?)

Good.

I hope invaluable does the same thing (he has an account there as well) - he bounced between both accounts.

Lizzie noted he is also using eBay too.

Glad you made a complaint, I believe Lizzie has lodged complaints with Invaluable as well as Live Auctioneers, and UK trading standards too (multiple times).  If we see him pop up on the other Invaluable again I'll mention it on this thread, maybe we can all make complaints at once, get it done faster lol.  Took a few yrs !  But thank you!!!!   Awesome job.

If enough members write to:

www.ukauctioneers.com and complain -- they will hopefully remove him from there as well.

Power in numbers folks -- it works.

Well I posted this to the Jerry Lee Lewis thread yesterday....  couldn't believe it when I saw it.

Not sure what you mean.

It's Jerry Lee Lewis's autograph on a Jerry Lewis photo.

Ahhhh.... simple Simon strikes again!

Message just received from the UK Auctionhouse that listed the Simon Parr items:

Thank you for your email

We took this catalogue down on Friday after being contacted by another platform.

We certainly don't want our reputation sullied by unscrupulous practices.

Kind regards
