I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998.  Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia.  For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph.  I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998.  My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams.  I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

I remember driving my green 1975 VW Rabbit to see the very first Star Wars at the Drive-In when it first came out.  I had never seen a movie quite like it before.  Like most 18-year-olds at that time, I found Carrie Fisher very beautiful.  She was only about two and a half years older than me.  Anytime a contemporary dies it is another realization of one's mortality. My thoughts and prayers are with her family on this very sad day.

seeing this absolutely kills me, 1. using her death for money, and 2. people wasting there money on an item that is so clearly fake :(

beside that, it's a sad day, and may she RIP.

I put a 48 hour hold from anyone selling her graph in my group on Facebook..I know people need to eat and all but you know

I'm glad you did that, Tony. I was about to post something similar in Buy/Sell/Trade.

Thank you Carrie.

Beautiful piece Ian.

Yes, beautiful piece, Ian! Hard to believe half of the actors in that shot are gone now.
Finally picked up a Warwick Davis autograph for an unbelievable price! He's an autograph I was always meaning to pick up and never did. Glad to finally add him to my collection.

Very nice.  Congratulations Mark.

Carrie Fisher preprinted photos (usually about 5x7) and secretarial autographs. These are out selling authentic pieces on ebay in some cases. Please be aware of them.

and a sampling of the signatures from secretaries that Fisher had signing her fanmail.

To the unknowing, the preprints are probably outselling authentic in some cases because of the great inscriptions.

Steve, that is exactly the case, I have contacted numerous sellers of these items on ebay letting them know that are not authentic and shouldn't be listed as such, some responded immediately, others ignored me completely. Uneducated buyers and sellers who don't care, make some amazing team ups.
