I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998.  Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia.  For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph.  I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998.  My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams.  I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

Nobody likes them.. lol.  But yes, exclusive contract generally means they determine where he signs and what he signs. Some times it even determines whether or not they can sign for free in public, but I've only ever seen that for athletes.

I am working on an 11x14 Force Awakens movie poster image so I am considering sending it in but I will probably pass.  I would rather get the autographs in person if possible.  Kenny Baker and Peter Mayhew will certainly be problematic.  I agree with Pete.  It is more likely that the cost will be closer to $400 than $200.  Good luck Richard.  Please keep us posted.

Baker wasn't in the movie, but if you still want to add him LFCC has a send in for next month.. that would be your best bet. He likely won't ever be back to the US.

Mayhew is still doing cons in the US and also has a send in service on his website, I would hurry up with him too, though.

Thanks Mike T.

On a Star Wars note...

My son's "Star Wars Destroyer" took first place in the PInewood Derby today. Beat out 40 other competitors!

The Force is strong with this one!

Congratulations!

Priceless!

That is awesome Steve.  Congratulations.

Very cool Steve, I remember those days.

Somebody convinced Richard Oldfield to do a con in Lexington Kentucky. Pretty rare Star Wars graph. He played "Hobbie" or pilot rogue 4 in ESB. To my knowledge he has never done a con in the US. I know someone who is volunteering, if anyone is interested let me know I can pass along info.

This past week has seen numerous deals come to a close and all kinds of rare and fun stuff has arrived at my door.  Some was just really tough names finally coming out of hiding like Art Evans, who a friend picked up for me at the Hollywood show, full signature Daisy Ridleys, a beautiful 8x10 uninscribed Tarkin Cushing (a true rarity to be found in the wild today), a full signature early Kaley Cuoco shot, a nice Alan Rickman Hans Gruber shot, an 8x10 from the first season of Criminal Minds signed by the full cast,

and with all that one thing managed to impress me more than the rest.....a true one of a kind rarity....

The piece itself is nice enough, great photo, signed pretty much in full by Scarlett Johansson about a decade ago. The fact that it was sold by MR's H&L makes it a true one of a kind, because I have never seen a real item sold by him.
