I just wanted to see if I could get an opinion on both of these signatures, It has been authenticated by PSA/DNA but wasn't completely sure on the David Marks. Also the Al Jardine looks close to me, but their are a couple of things that I am hesitant on.

I haven't purchased this, I've just been watching it for sometime as it might make a lovely match for my Brian Wilson signed box set. Any opinions of knowledgeable Beach Boys fans would be awesome!

Thanks

Adam

See that is where I differ from some people on that argument, I completely understand people not wanting members of a group on a piece they didn't play on. To me, it doesn't make a difference since when they are on tour they are playing pieces from it live. I know, it might sound silly since it is not the studio recording...Also might not make it anymore valuable I know. However it is the "Smile" album that makes it more important to me.

Thank you however for your opinion, I do appreciate it!

I'm not a Beach Boys expert, but I did get their signatures in person a few years ago, which I posted to the site at

http://live.autographmagazine.com/xn/detail/3524372:Comment:427839?...

Compared to the ones I got that day, there's a few things in the example you posted that I question -  the M and L in Marks and the ALJ in Al's signature. On the other hand, the end of Jardine's signature looks spot on. I'm sure someone who actually knows something (unlike myself) can give you a more definitive opinion.

I agree with you guys about people signing albums they didn't play on - Johnston signed it but would I rather have the signature than not? Sure. They all also signed Pet Sounds that day, so that has Marks' signature on it. Same deal - not ideal, but hardly a bad thing. I'm just grateful for their generosity of taking the time to sign for a fan.

Thank you, all opinions are welcome. The reason why I posted this is because I wasn't sure with the way each of the signatures are exactly. I also realize that not every signature should look exactly the same. That is the only reason why I am questioning it. I appreciate it.

Oh beautiful album by the way! ;)

Looks good to me. Don't think they would stop a 2 signatures if it were a forgery.

Yeah that is true, unless they are using reverse psychology :) thanks Paul.

I can post another one for you later so you can compare if you want

Well I don't mind seeing what you have, I feel confident. I'm still not sure if I am going to make an offer or not...But I think my mind is at ease if I do. Thank you!

I don't own this but its real

Wow,did Brian even bother to hold the pen :/
