Which of these would you rather have in your collection? The second set is from an upcoming Simon Parr auction.

Simon, the way you have conducted yourself on this very knowledgeable website is nothing short of very poor professionalism, we on this site are the first to admit to making mistake, a simple nice correspondent/reply would have carried a lot of weight and understanding, it now appears you are now BUSTED. Good luck in your future trading, you are going to need it.

And you call yourself professional. All we have stated is top coa's carry more weight than non experts on here, who quite often can't even agree.

Nothing wrong with that. You mainly are a bunch of people that have no life. As soon as we post a comment someone replies within seconds, it's like the vast majority don't have a job.

I assume most of the internet "has no life" either as there are millions of people online right now posting all over the world. I suppose you must not really have a job either since you have been posting all day too? Interesting, I suppose saying to a community of collectors that they have no life is a professional statement to make? I don't believe you have a true purpose here other than to be condescending correct?

Simon/David, No,the "bunch" of people you see here are collectors, who come to this forum to discuss what they collect, which in the case here are autographs. The problem with being an autograph collector (especially today) is the vast amount of forgeries out there, due to increasing value of a certain musicians, actors, historical figures and other notables that are out there in the marketplace. I think that this AML forum provides a place for autograph collectors to come and discuss an item that they see or may like and who they collect and YES also talk about and root out the forgeries that they see out there being offered for sale. I think that Ballroom is to be applauded here, for his knowledge and the amount of time that he had to spend to gain that knowledge….Something that you Mr.Parr lack and should be ashamed of yourself,by your attacks on people here and behavior in this forum. Truth is, we need more people like Ballroom and Washer and I thank them both for their time and knowledge and to AML for being here. Bob Herman

Hi Bob, but the point you are missing is IT DOESN'T MATTER what knowledge Ballroom has, because no auction house will take in an item on Ballroom's opinion and at auction to sell you get more money having a PSA/DNA cert. So basically the value is kept in the autograph by having a top coa, this is what you need to sell. It's like going on the Vegas programme 'Pawn stars' Hi Bob what have you brought in today. I've brought in a Judy Garland autograph, does it have any paperwork, emm no but.... Ballroom on AML says its real. Who, where, Rick says. Hold on I'll bring in Steve Grad from PSA/DNA. I'm sorry bob Steve says it isn't real.  Bob 'Well I don't care as I'd rather listen to all experts on AML than someone from PSA/DNA that get it wrong' Chum says 'Ah ok, that's why a proper cert commands more money than non experts opinions'

Volume opinion will always outweigh single opinion

Gotta love chum lee!!!

Brilliant what he did with the Bob Dylan album

I know.couldnt believe it was actually Dylan and he signed it.

Yes....poor old Simon has been busted.

Now the one thing I'd like to ask Simon while he is closing down his shop is do the authorities know that you are running a business out of your home??  The pictures I see at 5 Caroline Gardens on Google street view  show a row of flats, or council housing as I believe you call them. Do the local authorities know you are running a business  out of your home??  Is it zoned commercial ??

The business is registered I don't get what you are getting at.
