What worries me most about these signatures is....Jim is a little tooo perfect for his signature style. And Ray is later Ray, where he didn't sign his whole last name, so...I'm leaning towards these being bad.

... thx for your answer.  So you think not real.

No from me.

Hi Eric. The thing I find curious about the listing for this item is that the seller is offering to refund the original purchase price plus the cost of third party authentication costs if it fails authentication. Why not as the seller, would he not just bite the bullet and send it for authentication prior to listing it? Save himself and any prospective buyer the hassle.

He may believe they are good. Its possible. I have not looked into his sales. But if I had an item like that it would have the appropriate papers from a Doors Expert if at all possible. I don't neeed or believe in papers, but when I sell a Bowie it will have Andy's LOA. I hate to say it but he'd make more with those papers - what bullet? The page presents as nearly new, no age, not a fold. Perfect trim, nice placement.Very organized Jim. Not a spot. I look at my birth certificate (1969) and in comparison it looks like something Napoleon would have signed. See what Ballroom says.

It’s very curious. The seller could simply submit it to PSA for a Quick Opinion or to Beckett for a Signature Review. I’m sure that both would fail it. Is the consignor really going to wait for it to be submitted for authentication and, if that happens, pay the seller $200+ when it fails authentication? In any case, it has a bid at the opening price of $500.

"...it has a bid at the opening price of $500..."

A nice big red flag there.

For sure. Bidders would be all over an authentic set by now.

Not authentic IMO. It looks like they were all signed at the same time and the other three are attempts at more recent signatures.

Same forger?

Good catch Mark. Certainly looks that way.

This is definitely not authentic in my opinion. Also, all 4 of the sigs are same font/same hand to my eye.
