BEWARE: PSA/DNA Authenticated Monkees “Signed” 1/17/67 Contract

The signatures on this contract look odd to me, especially Davy’s which appears to be misspelled. The content of the contract also seems odd, with the Monkees assigning rights to themselves for a documentary that I can’t find any mention of. Any thoughts?

Thanks Michelle. I think it’s crazy that they authenticated this. Did they just assume that it’s real because it’s a contract?

I think they didnt bother looking at the sigs in any detail or with any seriousness and were more thrilled to put a grade 8 at the top, which clearly is the most important thing, (not)

Agreed. It seems like they didn’t bother reading the contract either.

Thanks Steve! I appreciate that. I suspect that it’s specific to the Matthews UMC, and that it was poorly modified to create the fake Monkees contract.

This is a supposed contract where Frank Davis gave The Monkees the rights to use the interview of him. The contract wasn't for The Monkees to give Davis the rights to the interview of them. 

Frank Davis needed to sign it, not The Monkees.

As for the autographs, they look all signed by the same person.
