Just announced from Analogr…

The description is a little weird. Including the one Hits EP with a 00s (best guess) signature style.

I’m not a fan. Is it just me?

Nope, I feel the same. Something a bit weird about it.

The story of the collection being in other hands for 30 years too… fishy.

Agreed. In a safe...

It’s more than a bit weird. Ringo Sterr and John Lemno?

Why not just authenticate (with known specialists), maximize returns and put people at some ease?

These Terns are lengthy but interesting:

"You acknowledge and agree that ANALOGr’s authentication process is proprietary, confidential, in-house and independent. "

"All sales of musical equipment, memorabilia and/or other products purchased on the Website are for final sale and once purchased there will be no refunds or replacements except as expressly provided for herein."

"In the event you discover that the equipment or memorabilia sold on this website is not of the origin or historical use described, then upon three (3) months from the date of sale you may contact ANALOGr in writing specifying the sale in which the property was included, the item number on the order confirmation and the reasons why the origin or historical use of the equipment or memorabilia is being questioned. Upon receiving such notice, ANALOGr may rescind the sale and return the purchase price to you in its sole discretion, provided that ANALOGr reserves the right, as a condition to rescind any sale, to require the buyer to provide to us at the buyer's expense the written opinions of two recognized experts in the field, mutually acceptable to ANALOGr and the buyer, before ANALOGr determines whether or not to cancel the sale. We shall not be bound by any expert report produced by the buyer and reserve the right to consult our own experts at our expense. Please note that any rescission or cancellation of a sale is in ANALOGr's sole discretion and is not guaranteed nor an automatic remedy provided."

The following may be a single sentence - I kept getting lost.

"UNLESS OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY ANALOGr FOR SPECIFIC PERSONS BY WRITTEN EXECUTED AGREEMENT WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF INDEPENDENT CONTRACTUAL RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN ANALOGr AND SPECIFICALLY IDENTIFIED PARTIES FOR CONTRACTUAL PURPOSES ESTABLISHED BY LEGAL INSTRUMENTS THAT SPECIFICALLY PROVIDE OTHERWISE, INCLUDING AS SET FORTH UNDER THE ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS ABOVE, ALL CONTENT, PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES ON THE WEBSITE, OR AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SERVICE, OR OBTAINED FROM A WEBSITE TO WHICH THE WEBSITE IS LINKED (A "LINKED SITE") ARE PROVIDED TO YOU "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SECURITY OR ACCURACY. NEITHER ANALOGr NOR ANY OF ITS LICENSORS, SPONSORS, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS, ASSIGNS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONSULTANTS, OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVES ENDORSE OR ARE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING IN ANY MANNER TO (A) THE WEBSITE, (B) ANY LINKED WEBSITE, (C) USER CONTENT; (D) YOUR USE OF, INABILITY TO USE, OR THE PERFORMANCE OF THE WEBSITE; (E) THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY OPINION, ADVICE OR STATEMENT MADE THROUGH THE WEBSITE OR SERVICE BY ANY PARTY , (F) THE CAPABILITIES OR RELIABILITY OF ANY PRODUCT OR SERVICE OBTAINED FROM THE WEBSITE OR A LINKED SITE; (G) ANY ACTION TAKEN IN CONNECTION WITH AN INVESTIGATION BY ANALOGr OR LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES REGARDING YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE; (H) ANY ACTION TAKEN IN CONNECTION WITH COPYRIGHT OR OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OWNERS; (I) ANY ERRORS OR OMISSIONS IN THE WEBSITE’S TECHNICAL OPERATION OR DESCRIPTIONS OF EQUIPMENT OR MEMORABILIA; OR (J) ANY DAMAGE TO ANY USER’S COMPUTER, HARDWARE, COMPUTER SOFTWARE, WIRELESS DEVICES, CELLULAR PHONE, MODEM OR OTHER EQUIPMENT OR TECHNOLOGY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGE FROM ANY SECURITY BREACH OR FROM ANY VIRUS, BUGS, TAMPERING, FRAUD, ERROR, OMISSION, INTERRUPTION, DEFECT, DELAY IN OPERATION OR TRANSMISSION, COMPUTER LINE OR NETWORK FAILURE OR ANY OTHER TECHNICAL OR OTHER MALFUNCTION, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA, WORK STOPPAGE, ACCURACY OF RESULTS, OR COMPUTER FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE OR EVEN IF THE ANALOGr HAS BEEN ADVISED OF OR SHOULD HAVE KNOWN OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR TORT (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WHETHER CAUSED, IN WHOLE OR IN PART, BY NEGLIGENCE, ACTS OF GOD, TELECOMMUNICATIONS FAILURE, OR THEFT OR DESTRUCTION OF THE WEBSITE)."

Also, the Authenticator giving a only mentions one of the records…

‘Given the history mentioned above and my experience of collecting , selling, and authenticating the Beatles autographs for the past 40 + years, including publishing a Beatles autograph study viewed worldwide and publishing books on The Beatles , the signed A Hard Days Night EP is authentic and a true piece of Beatles history

- Tom Fontaine’

Yes, I missed that. Interesting point. The name is starting to ring bells, but I was thinking of someone like Cox. Is Fontaine as well regarded?

Tom Fontaine is/was a major Beatles collector and had one of the best collections around.  I believe he partnered with analogr to sell his collection last year. I bought several high end Badfinger items from him and they were all legit.  He definitely knows his stuff and would be pretty decent with the Beatles autographs.  Assuming Paul James was who the description says he was the autographs could be legit.  However at first glance they all seem to have something odd about them.  If they were signed at NEMS offices I would expect better placement and perhaps better overall formation.  Hmmm

I believe these are all FAKE & a made up Story 'knowing the person at Nems died in 2019?

The position of the Twist & shout & 1965 flexi signatures are all in one hand for sure.

My thoughts as well.  Too many questions hanging over these.

I wonder if these signatures have been copied from other items and transferred onto these record jackets.  They all seem odd to me and I’m not buying the story.   If these were real Tracks would be all over them.  I did notice on the web site that there are 3 bids on them but the bid amount was not displayed.

Take a look at the John and Ringo signatures on the AHDN and The Third Christmas Record. Both of the respective signatures appear to have the same unusual traits.
