TTM self addressed stamped envelope when is international

How do you proceed when you want to ask to celebrities for their autographs via TTM when you are living overseas from their home country?

Sending the a self addressed stamped envelope with a stamp from another country I guess should be problematic, as The United States Postal Service may not deliver your order if it not contains US stamps.

Beyond that, would be difficult to calculate how much postage is necessary for such order.

Same for a personal item that you want to be signed

What about celebrities that you want their autograph living in Europe?

In my case I want the TTM to be delivered to South America (Argentina, being the most problematic because we use eleven different exchange rates) but I travel frequently to Chile and Uruguay that they have a stable peso and I could pick my order there.

Other issues could arise in custom duties from the sending countries and the receiving country?

By the same hand what happens if you send the celebrity a check on their name, besides getting an extra autograph by them having to sign the check to cash it?

I have a checking account in a United States bank so that wouldn´t be a problem.

Suggestions?

Thank you beforehand,

David
