First 500 orders get a signed postcard from The Edge. It makes little to no mention of it on the ordering site though:

500 signed postcards mentioned here:

It was posted yesterday. The site not mentioning it isn't encouraging, plus it's hard to imagine this really flew under the radar too long.
Yeah even when you check out it doesn't mention it. So you really have no idea if you are one of the first 500 or if you were just buying an expensive guitar strap.
I like the strap, the cause and I'd love to get an autograph from The Edge. However I can't find any refence to the signed postcard in the sale website. Maybe thay can be contacted to check how many has been sold so far
I'm opting to pass. I'm not a musician, so no use for the strap. $100 for an Edge signed postcard seems like kinda a shrug deal, so I'll stand by and see what happens here.
Site now states all the first 500 straps (hence the signed postcards) are sold. Hope I made the cut. My query was met with a not very promising “we are unable to tell whether your order was among the first 500.”
Received my guitar strap (numbered in low 400s right on the strap) and the signed postcard.
Really awesome! I don’t understand anybody who wouldn’t want something like this is their collection. (1) It’s guaranteed authentic. (2) With just a little leg work you can mat and frame these cards with a beautiful 8x10. Bummer, I missed out. U2 is my second favorite band of all time.
LEONARD, THAT IS SO SICK! Excellent instincts--I wish mine hadn't been malfunctioning that day!--on giving it a go with the purchase without acually knowing if you were moving fast enough to make the cutoff.
As Nick says, you shoud totally mat and frame it up all proper. Do that and you'll end up with something that would serve as the crown jewel of many a--killer--collection.
(I kind of go to a lot of shows. From tiny to huge, I like the full spectrum. And I've caught some brilliant ones. But man, I managed to make it out to one of the Joshua Tree 30th dates a few years back, and that was, for me--there's not a doubt in my goddam mind--one of the best nights of live music I'll ever be present for. WHAT A SHOW.)
So yeah, again, nice work on this one!
