I bought these autographs today at auction in the UK. They cost just under £2500 including auctioneer's commission, which is about $3,000. What do you think? Did I pay too much? Do the tape marks spoil them?

I added Beatles Items to the Subject of the discussion I hope you don't mind Dan. While you have it in the right Group category of Beatles, on the home page when new discussions come in we don't know exactly where they are being placed (category wise) and seeing only "What I bought today" doesn't say much - hopefully some Beatles people will see it and chime in here :) :)

I agree. This is a nice collection and I think you did well with the price.
I agree, price seems fair, and the signatures are all very nic.
You made a very good buy! What auction house?
I think that you got a good deal...considering the price of a Lennon...you did very well!!!
Thanks for the feedback guys, good to know I didn't pay too much.Steve, it was Stroud Auctions. Here's a link to the lot -

Yeah you did real good! By contrast I paid $4500 for my Lennon signature from 1964 and Paul, Ringo and George from 63. Of course they came with letters from the person who obtained them and tracks COAs etc. But I am a little jealous of your deal here. Good job!
I didn't even notice the tape the first time I looked at them.
