Beautiful program - looks to be in pristine condition.
Sadly it´s not program - it´s only booklet inlay for BluRay A Night At The Odeon.
That guitar is gorgeous. Congratulations.
Love that guitar.
without question,
Syd Barrett (from his personal library)
Without question indeed! A superb item from his own room. Wonderful, Shawn!
Waters and Gleason below are very important to me personally and so I can't choose - forgive me. Obviously the Honeymooners material is the most rare and desirable and took a very long time, but that Wall concert was something else (as is the current tour).
Completed this this year with the IP Waters 9.16. Gilmour from one of our own here. Both DVD covers, 5x7.
Or this - this took a very long time. Original photo(s) as well from Gleason Collection - photos have just arrived and are razor sharp - this is a low res auction scan. Photo May 5, 1953 and signature January 21st, 1953 on USPS blank postcard.
All superb Eric
I can certainly see a tough choice for #1 position
That is pretty simple for me. I stick to one BIG autograph purchase a year. Which makes me always think back to earlier in the year. I already have 2018 picked out, but here we go from 2017 from Tracks.
An original concert programme from the Chris Montez and Tommy Roe tour, which of course, also featured The Beatles. The programme has been signed in a blue pen on the reverse by George Harrison and Ringo Starr. George has added ‘To Josephine Love From’ and ‘xxx’ before and after his signature. The signatures were obtained in Birmingham on the 10th March 1963.
Happy New Year first of all (something Jimi says on one of his live recordings).
2017 was a relatively quiet autograph buying year for me but my favourite buy was undoubtedly the signed Ray Charles programme that I picked up at a Zurich fleamarket.
There are a number of reasons why it's my favouite:
1. It's rarity.
2. The coolness of the signed item (programme from a Paris concert of May 1962 - incidentally the month/year I was born).
3. How it was acquired.
4. The possibility of exploring it further on here - here is the link to the relevant discussion; my entries start on page 3:
