He says he doesn't take returns so you will have to file an SNAD.

But if deemed non authentic by either JSA PSA or Becket I will take a return and refund you the purchase price.

Send to Roger for $15 Quick Opinion but you may well be throwing more money away.

Why did you buy and then ask questions? It's the other way around. Buying an autograph is the very last step. Learning what to look for, what is real, what it should look like, how/where signed, when, with what, common inscriptions, the common forgeries and secretarials (if any) to avoid and so much more. Buying on the strength of a QO can be problematic. We don't allow them to be used here to sell items no matter who issued them.

the seller stated full refund if failed 3rd party auth. He hasn't even shipped yet but you mention that QO's aren't worth much and I tend to agree. maybe Skunk didn't want to be bothered but his opinion mattered also. thanks for commenting

You want a full exam, that is different than a QO and costs more but provides papers of value (when the item is real). As a rule seller trust is earned, not given until otherwise is learned.

Original lineup signed 1971-74 Steely Dan for Best Offer under $95? Cancel!

Also, you really need to know what genuine items are worth. Another key.

thanks for the help

You are welcome. Please get your money back.

Oh, I will. hard to believe this seller has flawless feedback isn't it?

Unfortunately, it is sort of the norm. :( A LOT of collectors don't do any of the things we have been discussing. If seller only takes full exams for returns and that fee is higher than whatever you paid (under $95) then he wins. Probably one of his business models.

Artists are notoriously bad at authenticating their own signatures. Often they have no idea. And this is 50 years ago.

What do those three places charge for a full exam? That will be more money thrown away. It should be simply accepted back but now he wants you to jump through HIS hoops. This is a bad seller with enough red flags for Red Square.
