Which Paul McCartney autograph would you prefer? (w/ pics)

For the same price, which of Paul's autographs would you prefer? The 8x10 signed photo with personalization or what PSA/DNA calls a "cut" signature on a full page without personalization.

The photo is authenticated by JSA, while the "cut" is authenticated by PSA/DNA.

I personally don't mind personalization, as it kind of adds a history to me. I also like how it is signed by Linda as well! Which to me makes it extra special! That is the one I'd go with! ;)

That's way I was leaning...in agreement with you both. I think the signature on the cut is a little nicer, but not significantly so. And I think a photo is more appealing. And also, the fact that Paul and Linda seemed to be "soul mates" does make it kind of nice to have both.

I think I would go for the photo, even though the ticket is adhered to it. I actually made an offer for it when it was on eBay quite some time ago.

Yes, that ticket being adhered to it seems a little odd. Maybe the original owner thought that the ticket would give it more legitimacy as a point of reference for where the autographs were obtained.

Though you could always make a very nice display of the cut-signature, I still think the personalized photo has a lot more character and "charm". Knowing the history of Paul and Linda that photo would always be more desirable to me than that cut-signature..

Now how about this Paul and Linda signed "thank you" postcard that was given to just a few Capitol Records employees in 1974?

In this case, which Paul and Linda signed item do you like? The 5x7 postcard or the photo?

in this case I lean towards the postcard, because of the mentioning of "Band On The Run" being number one and how it gives a frame of the exact history of the piece with the signatures.

Yes, Steve. I definitely agree. The photo is very nice, especially given their love story as I understand it. But the postcard is unique. Do you think having Linda's autograph on the same item as Paul's enhances the value very much or just marginally so?

For me, in the case of the postcard and signed photo, having Linda on it adds about 20% to the value. I think a lot of people would say 0-10% though.
