Hi Michelle, I guess if it were me, and I was looking at buying something specific - if you had a concern with it, you could toss it out on the forum here to see what others think of the item.  Or just to have discussion about the pieces is ok too.  I don't believe that anyone or any service is above having their items scrutinized as long as its done in a tactful manner.  What items made you a bit nervous about them?

Hi.  How good are the PSA/DNA at authenticating items.? Some of the stuff I've seen authenticated on e bay by them, has at times made me somewhat nervous. How hard do they check before they authenticate.?  I've tried to read up about this as much as poss as they don't have this kind of authentication over the pond but some people have obviously had problems with them so I  would kindly appreciate some advice.    thanks

Yet another George (Superman) Reeves signature on ebay that looks waaay off and priced way too cheap. Fresh from the UK, not surprisingly. I notified ebay and got the usual "no response".  Those interested can see the item here:

He has many others for sale too.

You can't say "do your homework" enough times.

Forgot to also note the random perfect dot at the end of his signature. This is what clued me in to it possibly not being a genuine autograph. Never have seen that before on genuine autographs from the Big Easy himself.

This Ernie Els failed JSA today. Was deemed an autopen Bummer. :( If I am honest with myself, I had suspicions that it was autopenned. If you look closely, you can see the small, perfect dots indicative of an autopen at the beginning of the "E" in Ernie, and the stopping point of the "E" in Els. Maybe one day Mr. Els will reconsider my request for an autograph.

Ok. I know there are a lot of experts on this site. The question is do you think is authentic? What do you think the real market value is?

Last time I did a post I'm proud to say 100% of the responses were correct.

Good luck and I look forward to what the smart people think.
