FEEL FREE TO SHARE YOUR T.T.M. OR S.A.S.E. BASEBALL AUTOGRAPHS YOU HAVE RECEIVED PAST OR PERESENT

Hello Fans...I figured I would throw this out there for strictly baseball collectors who seek to get autographs through the mail the old fashion way...directly from the player...I have received probably over 100 autos but stopped maybe 4 or 5 years ago when I lost my contact list...but recently started it up again and since then received a few autos through the mail since the end of July...it is now currently (August 2011) so now I am hooked once again...please feel free to add pictures and comments about the autographs you received from BASEBALL PLAYERS with a simple envelope and stamp and not something you have received through the mail from a winning auction...

Feel free to include autos you got for free and also Players that sent back a request for money as that also happens from time to time or even if they wrote you back which is also an added bonus and a rare treat...

LET ME KNOW...

HAPPY COLLECTING !!!!

This is my take:  I sent the request (Joe Morgan Reds HOF) to the BHOF but the return envelope was stamped from California.  The Joe Morgan that coached the Sox address is in MA.  When you look at this signature the only letters that are off from the known Joe Morgan auto's are the J & M.  The rest looks similar to his known auto's.  With that said I still do not know.

This is definitely the sig the HOFer Joe Morgan is sending these days. I agree there are some similarities to the traditional signature. I think it may be authentic, but the jury is still out. I'd hang onto it and time will eventually tell.

My successes from the last week. Bob Boone, Jim Gentile and John Miller all x2.

Jim Gentile that is cool.

Added this TOUGH through the mail signer to the Braves collection today: Ron Gant. This is the first successful TTM response from Mr. Gant on the sportscollectors.net boards since January 19, 2011. Very happy and so thankful to add this to the collection.

Awesome sig Jeffrey, I had thought about trying Ron too but saw that the odds were against me. I just might have to try. Even though I'm a Tigers fan, I routed for those Braves in the 90's.

Thanks, Jeff. I wrote to him at Fox 5 in Atlanta, GA. Use that address when you write to him. He does a morning show now from 4 - 10 a.m. everyday for them.

Awesome Jeff. Thanks for the info. I will definitely give it a shot.

Nice Gant success! I'm sure he will be receiving a lot of TTM mail soon. lol

wouldn't hurt jeff In the other post I got 4/4 from Gant

Got Tommy Boggs in today's mail.

this is my very first TTM that actually got me started and hooked!!!
