I recently discovered that many celebrities have placed certain conditions on their signing habits.  Bono will not sign sheet music.  Robert Plant will not sign Led Zeppelin memorabilia.  Carl Weathers will not sign action figures.  This recent discovery is disappointing.

Roger Waters is happy to sign sheet music, but he may not be willing to sign other examples of Pink Floyd memorabilia.

I can understand if the reason for refusal is to prevent the encouragement of something that may be considered harmful.  For example, neither Val Kilmer nor Al Pacino will sign guns.  But sheet music and action figures?  Perhaps there is a reasonable explanation.  I simply do not understand it.
