Autographed La-Z-Boy Photo and Empty Box

So, this guy got arrested for drunk driving. Unlike the goofy woman who called 911 to report a drunk driver, only to tell the operator "I am them." And being asked to pull over, while a cop found her and arrested her for a DUI.

This guy drove his La-Z-Boy into a parked truck and got into trouble.

He's selling autographed pictures on eBay to raise money (I believe, for his legal defense). The first photo sold for $750, which baffles me. That's about the price I would pay for a La-Z-Boy that has an engine in it (side note: no using the remote while you drive. That's just like driving and talking on the cell).

What's weirder than that autograph selling for that price, was something at a Christie's auction in September in New York City. Gavin Turk, a London artist, had an empty cardboard box, about the size of a moving company box. It sold for $16,000.

Then I realized, there was some thing about it going to help with his legal funds and medical bills, or who knows what. So, somebody might've just felt sorry for him, and paid that much. Also, you have that thing EBay seems to have ALL THE TIME...like with $10 million going to some winning bid (marilyn monroe crypt), only to find out days later the bid didn't go thru.
