Have you ever considered collecting autograph trading cards?  Perhaps you already do collect them.  Whether you are interested in entertainment or sports, or interested in both, there are many options available to autograph collectors in the realm of autograph trading cards.

The interesting thing about collecting autograph trading cards is that the value of the autograph is not always what determines their actual value.  The value is more often determined by the rarity of the trading card.  A very famous actor may autograph an abundance of trading cards, decreasing the value of them.  On the other hand, a less famous actor may autograph only a few trading cards, increasing the value of them beyond anything that is considered reasonable.

The enjoyment for autograph collectors is typically in collecting autographs, and not in collecting rare trading cards.  That will allow us many opportunities to find an authentic autograph for a very reasonable price.

Star Wars fans who enjoy collecting autographs may be pleased to learn that a John Tui autograph card of his character Korso from Solo: A Star Wars Story can be purchased on eBay for as little as $9.99.

This is a new field for me, one that I haven’t been interested in and to be honest I’m still not uncertain what I think.

The Star Wars card I’ve seen looks pretty cool, but I haven’t seen many nice ways of displaying them. Maybe it doesn’t have to be more difficult than a nice photo surrounded by the trading cards, just like you do with signed index cards.

Depending on the value of the autograph cards, many collectors simply store them in a binder.  Thanks for the comment, Cogo.

That on the other hand is something I could never do. I must display my graphs so that I can see and enjoy them. I know that’s an easy thing to say since I have quite a few item and only my Springsteen & E Street Band has a little bit of a higher value. But even when I had high end items like Elvis Presley, Queen, Michael Jackson, John Lennon and Neil Armstrong they were hanging on the wall. Safely away from the sun, but still fully viewable whenever I got the urge to see them… :-)

No worries my friend. Maybe you’ve seen that I almost by accident started a small war here when I started a thread regarding what I think gets lost in all the cheap signed CD threads that floods this site right now. So I thought I should also follow my own words and looked thru the blog section and this caught my interest. Keep up the good work!
