I need some help understanding this as I'm not a expert on his autograph. Most of the signatures that I see that are authenticated by JSA and PSA if it is just a signature the letters are not capitalized like the ones that you see on his checks, Can anybody tell me why that is  cause Iwould like to add his autograph to my collection.. Thanks for your help

Roger.

First off be very careful with JSa or PSA when it comes to Classic Hollywood Autographs.

I have been collecting Gable Autographs for years so if you would like to post what you are thinking of buying, I would be happy to give you my thoughts.

BTW, when Mr. Gable signed for fans , in-person or on photos he did not capitalize the letters.

He did capitalize the letters mostly on his checks, Movie Contracts and other important Legal Documents

Hi,thanks for the input on this. I was looking at a cancelled check signed by Gable from a UACC dealer  what do you think is a fair price for one with no marks near signature..

Canceled checks are the way to go.  They range from $200-$300.
