Worst  Kobe sig I ever seen.  What is the tell on the card?  Poor edges?  No foil on reverse?  I look forward to your posts.

Thank you, Doug.  I have probably exposed over one-hundred sellers who have sold these Kobe Bryant forged counterfeit cards and I will continue to expose Ebay sellers of the various forged/counterfeit cards.

As you observed, Doug, another confirmation that this is a counterfeit card, is the chipping.  All of the various (Derek Jeter, Willie Mays, Bart Starr, Johnny Unitas, Sandy Koufax, etc) counterfeit cards exhibit chipping.

Hey guys, i am the seller of this card and this was brought to my attention. I obtained the card in a collection at the last dallas show and I wasn’t fully aware of any of this mess. This is all new to me on knowing any of these Kobe’s being possibly counterfeit. If I had known any of these were possibly fake, I wouldn’t have any touched the thing. That’s not I how I do business. Just want clarify things. I’m gonna stay in contact with the buyer and see what we can possibly do to make things right.

Jacob, we appreciate you coming forward.  The right thing to do (if you already shipped it) is to direct the buyer to this blog.

Of the various (Derek Jeter, Bart Starr, Sandy Koufax, Willie Mays, Trout, Johnny Unitas, etc.) forged/counterfeit cards, the Kobe Bryant "2000-01 UD Ovation" card is the most popular because of it's rarity and the unfortunate passing of Kobe Bryant.

I hope you can get the card back from the buyer, refund his money and then go after the dealer who sold it to you.  That would be the right to do.
