Ebay Seller Gofsu2010 Discusses Stephen Rocchi/GFA

We all know about the thousands of forgeries of Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Willie Mays, Ted Williams, etc. "authenticated" by Stephen Rocchi and his Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA) group.

I already posted a thread similar to this one, but decided to post another one.

Let's once again break down some of the statements made by Ebay seller Gofsu2010 in his auction descriptions in his listings of GFA-certed forgeries.

Ebay seller writes "You no longer get an opinion, you get a determination based on scientific principles and processes."

That's as laughable as the forgeries that Stephen Rocchi "authenticates."

You don't need a "scientific process" to see that the below Mickey Mantle "signature" below is a forgery.  It's an obvious and laughable forgery sold (one of dozens) by Ebay seller Gofsu2010.

Ebay seller Gofsu2010 writes "The Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators began on September 12, 2011. Founder, Stephen Rocchi, was instrumental in the history of autograph authentication and with the formation of GFA, has raised the bar again!"

I cannot find any proof what-so-ever that Rocchi was ever involved in autograph authentication when he was with PSA.

The only "bar that Rocchi has raised" is the one that shows how bad an authenticator can be.

Below is my list of worst authenticators of all-time.

1.  Stephen Rocchi (Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators).

2.  Chris "I Never Saw An Autograph I Didn't Like" Morales.

3.  Drew Max (Authentic Autographs Unlimited)

3.  Ted Taylor (TTA/Stat Authentic/Primary Authenticator For Coach's Corner At One Time)

Ebay seller Gofsu2010 writes "During examination, each signature is carefully and independently examined. GFA utilizes authentication based on forensics including ink/medium analysis, object evaluation, side by side autograph structure analysis."

Maybe Rocchi can explain how the aforementioned process was utilized on the below piece-of-crap Joe DiMaggio forgery sold by Ebay seller Gofsu2010.

Ebay seller Gofsu2010 writes "GFA Authenticators are selected from an elite group of world class forensically trained and court certified document and signature examiners.   Each authenticator is experienced not only in the GFA forensic process, but also guided by an advisory board of the top document and signature examiners in the world."

Is the "GFA Forensic Process" to authenticate forgeries?  Because that's all I see on Ebay with COAs from Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators.

Ebay seller Gofsu2010 writes "GFA was born out of the experience and background Stephen has received from law enforcement, collectibles and as President/CEO of two major authentication companies.   Stephen sought out trained Forensic experts in law enforcement /court certified examiners to properly handle documents as they are done for the FBI and the judicial system.  This procedure documents, proof beyond a reasonable doubt if the autograph in question is genuine and authentic."

That's a bunch of BS that is directed at people who want to believe that "Forensic Nonsense."

I can tell you, Rocchi, "Well beyond a reasonable doubt that the below Mickey Mantle & Roger Maris signatures that you authenticated are forgeries without having to utilize any of that 'Forensic Process' that you spew."

Need I continue...

No.

Maybe Rocchi can submit some of those signatures he authenticated to his friends at PSA and JSA and see what result they come up with.

Does "scientific principles and processes" mean using a Hubble Telescope sized magnifying glass?

And some poor, unassuming soul is about to receive all of this junk for Christmas. I just looked at all of his recently sold items. Painful to look at.

Sure is, Mike.

Here is my latest "Christmas" thread on Ebay seller Gofsu2010.
