Ebay Seller Upspat23 Sells Forged Mickey Mantle Baseball COA Shop At Home

Before I continue, below are links showing hundreds of examples of forged Mickey Mantle baseballs, photos, etc. found on Ebay (the most dangerous place to buy autographs if you're a casual collector or impulse buyer).

Here is another forged Mickey Mantle baseball that recently sold on Ebay.

This one was sold by Ebay seller Upspat23 for $394.27.

What a waste of $394.27!!!

It's 2021 and people are still buying this crap; the below forged Mickey Mantle baseball is a mass-produced forgery from the 1990's, and as we all know, Shop At Home sold almost $800,000 in forgeries during the 1990's and this garbage continues to infect our hobby.

I will continue to expose the Ebay sellers who sell this crap.

Again this proves just how easy it is to sell forgeries on Ebay; the forgery industry on Ebay continues to grow because Ebay is so heavily-populated with delusional autograph collectors and impulse buyers.

Ebay doesn't give a crap; they do not filter out forgeries.

Here's a forged Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio and Billy Martin photo with a worthless COA from Shop At Home.  Look at this garbage.

Back in the day I bought a MM ball off the TV. I need to dig it out an see what it looks like.

In any case, what has Shop At Home's response been? Do they acknowledge the forgeries and so they refund the purchase price?

Shop at Home is no longer in business as far as I know. BTW, the COA above said they purchased it from B&J Collectibles, a notorious source of Operation Bullpen forgeries.

Thx for the information.  I looked it up and sure enough they were bought out and merged into nonexistence.

I need to dig out my MM and see if it was from that cable channel. I do recall that it came with two COAs, one from the shopping channel and one from the company that they contracted with.  I don't think it was Scoreboard but who knows.
