all fake except for the cornell. The Eddie is from a well known forger, you bought it off ebay several years ago.

The Eddie looks spot on to me... But why are they all framed together? Who is this well know forger, Jim? And where can I see some of those early fakes? I've never seen people trying to fake Ed's early signature.

thanks,

The forger is out of Seattle in the late 90's, He did hundreds of Eddie, Kurts and Laynes. I do not wish to give name but I am 100% sure this is his work and it is fake. Eddie always signed in a flat straight line, notice the upwards slant of the "E" and downward slant of the "edder", the signature arcs and Eddie NEVER did that EVER and this guys forgeries were always like that, that is how we knew there were his. I will post links to show you all of Ed's signature styles and to show you what I mean.

should I keep going? I can do it all day guys. It's fake, 100%, and the biggest tell is the bottom of the "E" comes to the point on the lower left, he never did that. Besides this, he has 2 other fake items here so it can't be that surprising guys. He bought a fake Chad Smith and Weiland from the same forger on ebay likely. Same pen was used, lol. They are both really bad fakes. I don't know anything about the Marley and the Cornell is good.

Also, why is this item in a different frame selling on ebay right now? Strange. And nevermind the PSA sticker cause it's you are all right, psa never makes mistake. What a joke.

Jim,

thanks for posting and explaining. But I'm still finding it hard to believe- I'll try to upload some images of my former collection, with some good examples. I just don't see why there would be forgeries during the early 90's. His signature wasn't worth much during the early 90's. The picture I have on my user name, actually has PJ's signatures. That Ed signature is early 90's. I'll ask around and keep trying to compare- I'll take a closer look at those slants your suggesting.

thank you,

thanks,

Here are a few of the items I use to have. I had more, but they aren't all uploaded. I'll try to add more to the link.

That photo signed 'Edward' is pretty cool. Did you obtain that Rolling Stone your self? And that first photo is a little off, did you get that also? There are some great items there. I love early PJ stuff.
