Yeah, Stephen. Who would've thought that Todd Bridges, arrested once for shooting a drug dealer and so many other things, would be the last one standing?!!
Hey, I heard Coleman is going to have a short funneral (oh, come on...is it too soon?)
Just a reminder, Coleman was actually a big jerk. I wrote in Autograph in a Trenches column, about being at an Oliver Garden with some friends one Friday night (because...uh, that's how I roll), and he came in with his wife (they weren't married then). And he yelled at the waitress for five minutes, for bringing him a salad with his meal, when he ordered the soup. The dude wouldn't let up.
And, remember, he went to court because he punched a woman (yes, you read that correctly) -- a woman that asked for his autograph. He said in court something like "I wanted to hit her, because I thought that would be enough of a distraction to get away."
Yes, it's always sad when someone dies...especially at 42, and after a brain hemorrhage...but I won't feel guilty if someone tells me "Hey did you hear Gary Coleman died?" And I respond with "Was it a stroke? Or something different?"
Sometimes a persons legacy in life is what it is even after their death. Gary Coleman, rest in peace, seemed to be that of a very troubled youth that had a big mouth with an even bigger chip on his shoulder. I agree Josh, he had major attitude issues.
