Taking a Machete to Elton Johns Fake Hair

Okay, so...that title might be a misleading, but it sounded catchy, didn't it?

Machete has come out, and it was as disappointing as I feared it would be. Great cast (gotta love Danny Trejo getting a lead part). The problem was--this worked as a funny, fake movie trailer in the movie Grindhouse. It doesn't work for almost two hours.

Anyway, I read a great story about Machete, the movie that's already grossed almost $30 million.

Danny Trejo, who has appeared in almost 200 movies and TV shows, was at an autograph siging in London in 2007 with director Robert Rodriquez, to promote Grindhouse. One fan took off his shirt to show he had him tattooed on his back. He asked Trejo to autograph it, because he was going to have that signature tattooed. Trejo turned to Rodriquez and said "You better make this movie, and you better make it good."

Now, on to the Rocket Man.

He played a concert in Chula Vista, which is 30 minutes south of San Diego. It was a huge venue, and he played for 2 and a half hours. During the encore, he walked along the front of the stage and shook hands with fans and signed autographs.

The only other musician I've ever seen do that is Buddy Guy.

Congrats to all the fans that scored a signature from Sir Elton.

Elton did the same when I saw him in Las Vegas. The only other artists I have seen do that is Sammy Hagar, and Tom Petty during an encore. Very rare.....

I have a friend that got Ace Frehley on Stage when he was playing with Kiss, so it was a full house and not just a small privat venue.

A friend got 4 albums signed by Paul on stage as well. Though he only signed them with Paul and not his full signature.

Josh...you didn't like machete? I thought it was pretty good as cornball as it was. It ind a told the viewer that it was going to be campy from the get go. Far as revenge movies I thought it better than the original death wish but not as good as good as Outlaw Josie Wales or High plains drifter. Thoughts?
