I know nothing about what a authentic Jerry Lewis autograph looks like...but since it is a book and not a ball or a bat just keep it on your book shelf..

If it was a photo I'd shred it. A ball I'd toss it in the yard. A book is tougher.

Either mark in pen next to the signature "not authentic" or put some sort of sticker over it. The concern is you forget about it, it gets donated or whatever and then the next owner down the line has to deal with it.

I was thinking of ripping out the first page and shredding it, then donating the book since the missing page would diminish the book's value.

Just out of curiosity, what would one do with an inauthentically autographed ball or bat (or other item)?
