"A company hires a girl to go to an event and stand in line for hours to get an autograph but the girl they hire just sits at a coffee shop all day practicing the autograph and then, scribbles it on the picture then, goes back to the office?"

This is where the collector comes in, armed with known authentic exemplars, experience and eyes. Often overlooked - EARS. A signature such as you describe will not bear serious scrutiny.

Maybe this is alien to you, but for me, I assume everything is fake and work to prove it is genuine.

No aliens ...no, no.
These are the people grabbing some of mine...and myself.
Go Autographs haven't shown any fowl play. I'm looking for complaints and if there is one, it will surface. Like, I don't see go autographs being in trouble and investigation like these guys who are ring leaders in the business. Wait!... Let me guess, JSA or DNA said go sucks? ...I can't find any dirt on go so...whatever, I love this piece. You don't I do. I tell ya what, even if it's fake I like it. Telling me that someone would go to that much trouble? To do a fake so,good? Whatecer...

Adam,

I'm being serious. Go Autographs is selling autographs that don't look right to me for remarkably low prices. I haven't seen every autograph they're offering, but of the ones I have seen, not one of them looked even remotely genuine to me.

Adam, the "dirt" you are looking for is in the autographs for all to see. Trust in a dealer is earned - not given automatically until "complaints" surface. By then, it is usually too late.

It usually takes two - the seller and the trusting buyer.

Adam,

I looked at more than 100 items on the Goautographs.com site, and I did not see anything that I thought even had a remote chance of being real. Since you believe that they sell real autographs, I think you would gain a lot by learning from members of Autograph Live. Otherwise, you may collect your entire life and find out decades later that your autographs aren't what you thought they were.

I know my word doesn´t mean anything to Adam, but I agree with the others here. There is not one (go)autograph that I would be comfortable buying. And I´m a collector for over 12 years now.

Adam, lack of bad information is not the same as the presence of good information. Why do you think those autographs are real?

Excuse me? You seriously think "some lady" signed that Judy Garland? If you think I say it is genuine because Grad said so, you would be very mistaken.

This is what I mean.

Go on, what do you mean exactly? If you think the Garland is bad, show how. I am all ears (and eyes).
