Rock and Roll Collection Concerns [Title revised by moderator]

I see this site brought up a lot on this site for autograph references.

http://www.rockandrollcollection.com/

problem is, who ever this Stephan is he has a load of forgeries up here too. I get messages from people from time to time saying he has offered to sell a member here an item or two and it is never the real stuff imo, it is usually the fake stuff. Greed. He wants money but doesn't want to part with the good stuff.

Eagles are his most famous work. Attached is a screen shot of his fake work (not limited too). Notice how they are the same..... duh. If you look through his stuff he has loads of fake Zeppelin, Beatles, Springsteen, Stones, Floyd and more. Even the so called authentic Traveling Wilbury's is not real. Maybe the George and Petty are ok but 100% not the Lynne and I'm pretty sure the Dylan is bogus also. Anyway, I don't wish to debat about this guy and his ethics but if you are using him a reference be careful and I wouldn't buy anything from the guy either.

RR had 2 in Nov, 1 in Sept, 1 in August for sure. Haven't gone back any further. They have also popped up on Iconic, Nate Sanders, Heritage and other auction sites.

Every serious music collector I have spoken to has told me the Eagles were one of the most difficult bands in the world to complete. There was a lot of animosity between members, issues signing pieces with other autographs, and most of the time autographs were personalized. Some collectors have told me it took 10-15 years to complete a single Eagles item.

Duncan has a unlimited supply of complete items from the hardest band in the world to complete, all in perfect condition, signed in the perfect pen color, unpersonalized, with perfect signature placement.

At the very least, you have to say its extremely unlikely. It's baffling to me that people still don't want to admit this.

Why does RR not question the source of all these complete Eagles items month after month? I think we all know the answer to that.

Couldn't agree with you more Mike. Very suspect activity going on. Another thing I wanted to mention is that the second Eagles picture in RR was offered to me by a dealer in the UK for ~200 pounds - which I passed on. He also was trying to get me to buy some bad Floyd photos as well.

And not to mention the mccartney uke.

Yup - bad Maca's as well - 200 pounds a piece on those as well lol

I think I'd always remember being in an elevator with David Bowie.

Corey,

Are you saying that the same person offered you the pieces mentioned? And when?

Steve -

Let me state that this is not related to Duncan's.

The Eagles signed picture I attached above which is currently listed on RR was offered to me by a dealer in N. Ireland (who may be a member on this site) in July. He offered this one, two Floyd pictures, and a McCartney.  Members here did not like the Eagles or Maca.

I believe the Richard Wright on the Pink Floyd photo is fake after speaking and confirming with a knowledgeable Floyd collector.Displaying IMG_4482.JPG

Corey,

Thanks. Your images didn't post earlier or this time for some reason, but I know what Eagles you're referring to. The one in blunt marker. But is a Macca he offered being auctioned?

That's strange. Here are all the items offered below. I understand we are deviating from the thread topic so happy to discuss somewhere else.

Here are the others.

Thanks, Corey. It's OK here for the moment. Is the Eagles SP is the only one that is or was offered by RR?

As far as I know, its just the Eagles.
