Hey there,

Considering the name, play on words "tailor made", and the quotes it may well be a character/stage name etc.

There was a CBS singing group in the 1940s known as "The Taylor Maids." The group consisted of Pat, Shirley and Beverly. This must be the "Pat" from that group.
