I'm trying to evaluate a document from Arthur Davidson's 1908 wedding to Clara Biesel. In addition to the "principals" Arthur and Clara, it has 26 other pencil signatures including guests William Davidson, Walter Davidson and William Harley. No picture or illustration. Do you think collectors would be interested?

Like it or not ....collectors are a dying breed. That being said there is always someone somewhere that would be interested. Verification of the authenticity of the signatures as well as price point.....when the stars align, the item will sell.
I don't ride, but there will always be someone willing to buy some signatures, especially those of inventors who changed the way the world looks at something.
I'm not as convinced the autograph collecting is dying although I am certain that the way collectors collect is vastly different. Mainly due to the high prices most collectors focus on a specific niche rather than accumulating large collections. What I am seeing is that many people who are buying are just looking for their favorite celebrity or focus on a specific topic.
Quality still sells but it does take time and patience to get the best price possible. Not sure how much you have invested in your Davidson item but, if you are wanting to sell in quickly, try selling it at auction with the minimum acceptable bid and let the marketplace decide.

Agree. I think the "completist and hold forever" collector mentality is on the decline. Newer collectors are more focused on churning "big splash" pieces. "Rent" it for a while, turn and buy another.
Not an absolute, but a general trend IMO.
Thanks everyone. You've just confirmed by thinking. (It's not even an attractive item!)
